What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of many naturally present cannabinoids that naturally occur in the cannabis plant. CBD, unlike THC, doesn’t create a psychoactive affect and is often known for its capacity to deliver many mental and physical benefits.
What are the benefits of CBD?
Many people who ingest or take CBD oil use it as a nutritional supplement. It is often used for its powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety effects, it is also used to relieve pain. It has even been approved in Canada for multiple sclerosis and cancer pain. Taking CBD can reduce chronic pain and prevent nervous system degeneration. CBD has been shown to reduce levels of stress, those suffering from conditions such as social anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and PTSD could benefit greatly. CBD has also been used to reduce inflammation, promote healthy weight, improve heart health, improve skin conditions, and even fight cancer.
Does CBD get you high?
CBD will not give you a “high” because it is missing the psychoactive cannabinoid Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). No matter the serving size, CBD does not get its user high.
You should always consult your doctor as a primary source for serving size. CBD serving size is often based on one's weight and severity of the ailment. We recommend starting at a 10mg servings one or two times per day. If you are using tinctures, the effects will be instantaneous. On each of our tincture products, we have images of how much you are serving with the pipette. If you are using a vape cartridge, you may need to take several hits. If you notice that your symptoms aren't being alleviated, it may be best to raise your serving size or speak with a doctor.
All of our products are quality-driven Full Spectrum Oil. The difference between Isolate and Full-Spectrum oil depends on how you extract the CBD. Full-Spectrum oil is the extraction of the whole plant for CBD content. Isolate is as it sounds, pure CBD extract. It is a powder that is typically around 100% pure CBD. Full-spectrum oil, on the other hand, contains other active plant compounds in addition to the CBD. This includes other cannabinoids such as CBN and CBL. These extra cannabinoids add even more benefits to our products. For the large majority of average users though, a high-quality full-spectrum CBD oil will be the better, more efficient option.
A consumer who uses our high-quality CBD is highly unlikely to test positive for THC. You would have to take roughly 1000-2000mg of CBD in a day for a possible chance to test positive, and this test would likely turn out to be a false positive. Consumers need to be fully informed of the specific regulations posed by their employers and adjust their consumption of cannabinoid products accordingly.
