Does CBD help with sleep?

Cannabis is filled with hundreds of different compounds, the most interesting are known as cannabinoids. One of the most widely known cannabinoids is Cannabidiol (CBD), which has been known to help with stress, anxiety, pain, and even sleep problems. CBD appears to affect many of the body’s functions, including sleep-wake cycles. One of the leading causes of sleep insomnia is anxiety, CBD has the ability to reduce anxiety, so it helps in reducing sleep difficulties and improving sleep quality. Sleep apnea is another reason many have a hard time getting a good night sleep. In some studies, it was revealed that the higher the serving of CBD, the more effective it was at reduction in apnea events.

There isn’t a lot of research showing the correlation of sleep and CBD, but it appears that CBD is correlated with improving sleep because it can lower stress levels and pain.
